I would recommend for those in a tight spot. Customer service is horrible via phone as I never got through, but I had good luck with the live chat. Yes some of this was a bit vague or confusing, in the instructions.
Make sure everything is how they ask for it, and it MUST be sealed at the postoffice with passport processing capability, prior to being shipped by FEDEX. I feel these bad reviews are for incomplete information or forms. I was thrilled when it arrived yesterday June 2. I then got a message it was at the state department and I would receive June 8 for a June 10 departure. I paid for the 2 week, New passport expedited service, however I sent it in way to early so it went into holding until 2 weeks before my trip. I was invited out of the country but my passport was 10 years expired. I was very skeptical to use this after the bad reviews. My nerves are over as passport arrived early You will received confirmation of what is the result Operator has closed the current chat session. I would love nothing better than to be proven wrong and given a refund so that I can change my review. Seriously upset and disappointed that I fell for this and that people can do this to others and be ok with that. I am out money that is hard earned and for nothing. They say no refund after 72 hours, well, wonderful I would have asked for a refund if a human answered. One time it was what sounded like an outsourced answering service who took my information and still no one called. On hold for an hour or better each time only be disconnected. I called every day two times a day for two weeks.
